Elevating Volleyball Excellence Through Strategic Training
Our previous program, Atlantic Canada Volleyball (ACV), has officially concluded its activities. We extend our sincere appreciation to Shane St. Louis for his leadership, dedication, and the impact he has had on the development of beach volleyball in Halifax. With his new role as Head Coach of the King’s College Women’s Volleyball Program, Shane has chosen to step away from ACV, and we wish him continued success.
Our programs
East Coast Beach Volleyball provides a competitive learning environment for youth teams looking to develop their skillset and game knowledge.
Both the competitive and training programs we offer have the same core training curriculum. However, the Competition Team Training Program will receive individualized coaching support at designated events such as Provicials and Nationals.
Practice locations
Our regular practices will be held at Volleyball Nova Scotia’s Pemamkiaq Beach Volleyball Courts (261 Commodore Drive, Burnside, NS) and the Greenfoot Energy Centre’s Beach Volleyball Courts (61 Gary Martin Dr, Bedford, NS). Optional/Make-up practices will be held on the Halifax Waterfront sand (1479 Lower Water St, Halifax, NS).

Sophie Pitre-Arseneault — Beach Volleyball Coach
A former university team captain and longtime Atlantic Canada Volleyball coach, Sophie has led beach programming since 2022, including the Volleyball Nova Scotia Navy Beach Program. She brings nine seasons of club coaching experience and a passion for developing strong, confident athletes.
